​Thanks for checking out my website. My name is Mike Shamon and I am a Web and Graphic Designer in Tampa/St. Petersburg Florida. I mainly work with WordPress for websites and in the Adobe Creative Suite for graphics, mostly Photoshop and Illustrator.

I got started in web design in the mid 2000’s and went to school and graduated with a BFA Degree in Graphic Design. Working everyday creating websites for a number of different clients. I have done sites for a lot of different niches, including, but not limited to pawn shops, spas, salons, painting, plumbers, job boards, acupuncture, dentist, doctors, car detailing, signage, cigars, online courses, memberships, the list goes on and on.

Over the course of years I have really come to love the WordPress content management system (CMS) for a number of different reasons. I won’t spill those all right now, but basically because it is easy to expand and for end clients to manage once the final site is in their possession. The versatility of WordPress is pretty amazing.

My passion is creating websites and teaching others, I have made some screen cast tutorials, you can find them on YouTube. I have watched many WordPress videos and there seems to be certain strategies lacking that I find very valuable in creating websites everyday.
