How to Sharpen Text in Photoshop [Video]

If you need to sharpen text in Photoshop then you have come to the right post. Sometimes in Photoshop the text comes out pixelated and choppy looking. You can see in the the image above how the text is coming out, not good. There is a simple solution for this problem. In order to sharpen text in Photoshop select the text layer that you want to sharpen. Then in the top menu go to Layer➙Type. In the type drop down you can see that you have several options to choose from. Anti-Alias None, Sharp, Crisp, Smooth.

You can do some trial and error to see which one works best for you. For this Sharpen Text in Photoshop Tutorial I choose to just go with Anti-Alias Smooth, of course. You can take a look at the image below to see the difference around the edges of the text. On the left hand side is the before, with Anti-Alias none. The right side is the after.
