In this tutorial I walk through how to set up your Divi WordPress theme for landing pages from start to finish.
Why Use Divi Theme for Landing Pages
I wanted to make this video for people just starting out and learning how to use Divi.
Divi Theme has a ton of different uses, but I love to use it for landing pages and affiliate marketing.
Seeing that I create landing page templates I wanted to point out a reference that someone who is using my product could use.
Divi Theme Landing Pages Settings
The settings are easy to go through. I basically start the video right after a clean install of wordpress. If you don’t know how to do that it’s the first video in the free Work Online Formula course.
We go through how to change the to the classic editor, however you can use gutenberg if you prefer.
I go over the permalinks and how to change them in WordPress as well as the general settings and setting the homepage.
Changing the WordPress Homepage
Now in order to set the homepage as the main page of the website you are going to want to first make the page. I walk through how to make a homepage with the Divi theme in this video.
If you want to easily set up the homepage title and tagline you can do that as shown in the tutorial video.
How to Change the Favicon in Divi
Along with the blog title and tagline you can also change the favicon here, to give your site a more professional look.
Since this is just getting our website setup for landing pages and not a full blown website we don’t need to add a logo or menu anywhere.
After Landing Page Set Up is Complete
Once people come to our landing page we want them to take very specific actions.
After the landing page is set up, we can connect our autoresponder, which includes our follow email series.
For my landing pages, I like to monetize them with high affiliate commission offers and several passive affiliate programs.
